How to Grow and Smoke Power Plant Cannabis Seeds
Power Plant is an indica dominant hybrid originating in South Africa. It’s well known as the starin, which provides a strong punch both on yield and potency. Power Plant can usually be harvested in 7 months with yields ranging up to 6500g per plant, sometimes more. Just five feminized cannabis plants can produce close to 3000g of highly potent bud ready for smoking.
The name Power Plant was derived from the plant‘s ability to create an electric current. The plant is not actually powered by electricity; it can be used to generate electric currents by itself if you take care of it.
Before growing Power Plant cannabis seedlings, be sure that you understand what to look for and how to harvest the best marijuana buds. The following are important things you should know about Power Plants and how you can take advantage of their amazing effects.
When you choose your plant seeds, you need to pay attention to how big the plant is. It should have a good canopy of leaves and a healthy appearance for its growing stage. It should have buds that have a good natural appearance. Some strains have a reddish or purple tint to them that can give them an even better appearance.
During the grow out period, you’ll want to place the plant in a warm, moist location. The buds can take anywhere from one week to about two weeks to fully develop and the best time for you to do this is in the early morning or late evening. If you plant your plants during the day, you’ll want to place them close to each other, preferably at about the same height. This will ensure that the buds are able to get as much light as they need, so they won’t dry out and die quickly.
Before you water the plant, you should wait to make sure it has a steady supply of moisture. This will help prevent the plant from drying out or becoming stressed. Water the plant carefully until it reaches about two inches high. {but don’t go above one inch because you’ll only risk over-watering the plant. You can water in small amounts at a couple times during the first two weeks but after this time you should use water only when it’s really needed.
In the fourth week, you can cut the plant back to normal growing height, leaving about two inches of root hanging below the canopy. After that, trim the remaining plant to a reasonable length. This will prevent the plant from spreading out too much. You will also want to keep the plant away from direct sunlight to reduce drying out.
During the third week, harvest the buds by either cutting the leaves or using scissors to prune the buds. The stems should be trimmed off so that the plant produces a uniform size that can be smoked with ease. The buds should be separated so that they don’t become crowded.
The final step is the flowering stage. The buds will grow larger, turning red in color as they grow. In order to smoke these buds, you’ll want to place them into a bowl. Once you’ve done this, place the bowl inside the greenhouse.
While you are in this phase, it’s important to ensure that the plant is kept warm. It will need to stay well insulated and the light source should be kept the same during this period.
Once the plants begin to grow and flourish, they are ready to harvest. The stems should be removed and put into your freezer. After the stems are removed, cut the leaves back to create a nice piece.
When it comes time to smoke, the bud from your power plant cannabis seeds can be smoked right out of the freezer or placed in a pipe. Depending on the type of buds, you may also want to add them to your vaporizer to enjoy a nice smoke at home.
