The White River Power Plant in Escondido, California is a unique hydroelectric power plant that generates electricity by using cannabis plants. In addition to providing clean and renewable energy, the plant reduces air pollution caused by burning fossil fuels and produces no CO2 emissions. This plant recycles both used fuel from producing electricity and used plant waste. The plant can run twenty-four hours a day, producing enough electricity to power a town of 2 million people. And it can be paid for with an annual payment of two hundred dollars per year.
The hydroelectric power plant was built by taking advantage of natural underground water resources. These are part of the San Fernando Valley. All the water used comes from the Aquifer beneath the foothills of the San Fernando Valley. When it rains, the water is harvested and used to make electricity. This power plant uses rain water collected in its underground storage tanks, to make clean water that is used for cleaning and filtering process as well as for cooling and heating purposes. The water is also used to make up seventy-two gallons of high-pressure sewage water that flows through three kilometers of underground pipes.
Because this plant uses natural rainfall and not fossil fuel or nuclear waste, no odor is produced as a byproduct of its operation. The only byproduct of the power plant produces is potassium hydroxide. Potassium hydroxide is the agent used to break down the cannabis seeds before the plants are planted in the ground. The plant absorbs this agent and converts it into potassium hydroxide. The plant must, however, have access to enough water to complete its growing cycle.
The electricity generated by the White River Power Plant runs through 12-inch transformers to reach the substations. These transformers require copper wire to transmit their energy. The wire is galvanized to prevent damage from corrosion and is buried deep underground, six feet below the surface. The wire then runs through underground conduits to reach the electrical generating station where it undergoes a final galvanization process to prevent the galvanized wire from becoming rusty. This final step helps prevent the electricity from leaking.
Just before the power plant began producing electricity, marijuana plants were dug up and the tops removed to allow the plants to grow freely. A light source was then connected to the top of the plant using rubber tubing and an iron bulb. This allowed the plants to produce their own light. This process took about twelve weeks to complete. During the construction of White River Power Plant, an average of one marijuana plant was growing every minute.
This high demand for the plants created a problem for the power plant‘s operator. If he didn’t get more plants planted, then it would take him almost two years just to harvest one gram of cannabis. As a result, the power plant became the envy of the area, causing developers to look towards other areas in the country to grow crops.
Eventually, the cannabis seeds that were grown by White River Power Plant became a commodity. There are many power plant users who now grow their own plants. They can sell them to nearby communities and make a profit. Those that don’t use them often keep the cannabis seeds stored in the back of their minds. It is said that if you need a power plant in case of a disaster, it is good to have some seeds saved just in case.
When the power plant was first constructed, it was constructed by only three men. Because of its popularity, the number of workers on the project soon grew and soon there were twenty-four people working on the project. Because of its popularity and because it became such a profitable business, White River Power Plant now has thirty-two employees. The plant does not operate on autopilot, but it does continue to operate as long as it is being operated.
