Types of Feminized Seeds and Their Uses

Limited Edition Seeds. Limited Editions are special limited edition seeds that, unlike the regular seeds, do not grow bigger in size with each season. Limited Edition Seeds can be produced more than once and are very much desired because they add that extra zest to any garden. The flowering period of Limited Editions is generally longer than the standard seeds and buds that come from a single plant, so ensure that you get the right Limited Edition if you intend to replicate an existing plant. Plants that come from different species can also have different flowering periods so make sure that you are aware of the difference before investing your money on the Limited Edition.

To ensure that the limited edition seeds have good quality genetics, breeders go through extensive research on the subject of which species of cannabis grow best when in their natural habitats. This helps breeders in creating the right strains for cultivation. Breeding methods also depend on various environmental conditions as well as the genetic makeup of the plants. Breeding can take place in different ways to suit different geographical locations.

Full-grown buds that contain large amounts of THC, or trichogen, are called “buds”. The higher the amount of THC in the buds, the more potent the plant becomes. Many strains of cannabis that contain high levels of THC produce potent, mind-altering buds, which makes them highly sought after by many consumers. Some strains have lower THC levels but still manage to produce sweet and potent buds, while other strains have little or no THC at all, and so they produce weaker and less noticeable buds. A strain with a high amount of THC level can also be used as a smoking blend, since it has been proven to produce more potent and long-lasting smoke.

Apart from the limited edition seeds, there are also limited edition seedsman strains. The majority of strains in the market today are the full-grown and patented forms. The strains of cannabis that contain the patented genes are highly sought after for breeding purposes. Usually, only one male and one female cannabis plant is needed to create these powerful strains, making them much more efficient than conventional breeding techniques. However, the time taken to achieve results is longer.

Limited Edition Genetics: Some strains of cannabis are crossed with other similar, powerful cannabis plants in order to create new, powerful varieties. Examples of such rare species are Skittlez Xskittlez X Birthdaycake X Skittlez X Birthdaycake X, and Skittlez X Boss RC. All the strains of this rare, elite line contain the same amount of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), have the same appearance when fully flowering, and have the same low potency. These limited edition genetics are used for breeding for specific purposes only, such as for medical marijuana growers or for people who want to get high with less effort.

Feminized cannabis seeds: Many popular cannabis strains are feminized, meaning that they contain a certain amount of plant testosterone (both in male and female forms). To create feminized cannabis, a plant is crossbred with another plant with no natural testosterone. The result is a plant with almost twice the amount of THC (towards crossbreeding) and half the amount of estrogen (from feminized plants). These plants are called “hybrid,” and they often contain additional traits that make them very different from their untrained parents. Some examples of hybrid strains are Skittlez X Boss RC, and Skittlez X Skittlez, and sometimes even Feminized Skittlez X Boss RC.

Limited Edition Strains: Some strains only ever become available on the limited edition seeds list. These include limited edition specials and variety packs, such as No Name (aka Skittles), Chronic (aka Chronic Green), and Chronic White. The name of each variety is also unique, so knowing which variety is your favorite can be difficult to pinpoint.

Autoflowering strains: Autoflowering cannabis is a type of feminized seeds that can be implanted into the uterus. Autoflowering strains were developed to mimic regular seeds by inducing mother to take hormone levels lower than those normally used by her body. This causes the body to lay down thicker cervical cells, which cause the endometrial lining to expand. Autoflowering strains will stay in the uterus for up to nine weeks, and after nine weeks, must be removed because they have built up too much uterine tissue.
