Where To Store Regular Marijuana Seeds

If you want to save money and have a quality product from which to grow your own marijuana plants, then regular cannabis seeds are the way to go. These seeds don’t cost a fortune to purchase and can be used to start a small home garden or even a small commercial operation.

Regular seeds are produced in the same way that ordinary seeds are created by other plants. A male cannabis plant will pollinate a female cannabis flower if the male pollen is released by the male flowers and blown by the breeze (or carried by a gardener’s careful hand).

The pollen will travel through the plant‘s leaves and flower stalks to the flowers where it will find its final resting place inside. Once it has found its “sweet spot”, it will be attracted to the buds and it will start growing. This may seem like an easy process for some people, but for others it can be a bit more challenging.

First you must determine what you want to do with the seed. Many of the common names for seeds include, Bud, Joints, Skunk, Marijuana, Smokey etc. Whatever you decide on for your seed, you should keep in mind that this is not the same as a flower pot or other container plant.

You do not want to buy a plant that is too big to grow in a pot. In fact, many seed shops will not sell you one unless it is too big to fit in the shop. When you buy the seeds you are purchasing them as small pieces of marijuana that need to be grown indoors. They are only about an inch long and they can be planted in an average sized garden, with the exception of the hybrid strains. Hybrid strains are a little larger, at least two inches wide.

Before you plant the seeds out into the garden, take a couple and stick them into a bag to keep them from rotting. This is so the seed will sprout healthy roots. Be sure to keep them moist so that the seeds don’t dry out and become brittle.

After you plant your seeds in your indoor garden, remember to water them regularly. Be especially cautious when watering after rain or near a snowstorm. If you’re growing more than just one plant, you’ll want to make sure you can get at least an inch of water from the soil every couple days.

When you first start to see your cannabis flowering, the seeds will be covered in a white powdery substance. This is called nugs, and it is an indicator that the seeds are ready to bloom. If you harvest your buds, you will find that the nugs have turned black. This is the time for harvesting.

Harvest the buds when the buds are no longer in bloom. Keep the plants outdoors until they turn black again, and then take them inside to dry off. It is a good idea to cover the plants with plastic wrap until you’re ready to remove them.

Store the seeds in a dark, cool place away from sunlight. Anytime you use your marijuana, remember to dry it thoroughly before smoking. The last thing you want is for the seeds to start to turn black.

Store the seeds in a cool, dry location in a glass jar with a tight lid. It’s a good idea to store the jar in a cool, dry place such as your garage or basement. This way if you accidentally spill the seed onto your hands while smoking it, you won’t leave a stain on the floor.

If you need to store the marijuana seeds for longer periods of time, you can keep them in a dry area of your house for a few months. It’s not a good idea to keep the jar on the kitchen counter, or in a room where it gets lots of direct sunlight.
